Ukraine Is Not Poland

State interests and destiny are not necessarily of prime importance to the majority of Ukrainian politicians, no matter what side of a political spectrum they are on. Still, when applying Hegel’s ideas to Ukrainian realities, we should hope that Ukrainian politicians, who act in their own self-interests, will actually do what the world spirit demands – expand the sphere of freedom.
